Summary: The story takes place not after Brahne's death (as said in the comments), but after this one used Atomos and Odin on Lindblum. We see Garnet running on a land and asking for her mother to stop. She suddently appeared on a forest where a voice told her that she is, again, too late and she saw before her Atomos, ready to attack.


 
She awoke screaming, she was having a nightmare and was in fact with Zidane and Vivi on the outer continent.
Zidane and Vivi are worried for Garnet, she don't talk and is always moody. She even snapped at Zidane , telling him that he can't understand, she is the future queen so she must protect the people and more of everything she has lost her family. Zidane is hurt but they all keep walking.


 
Garnet saw a shadow , she run to it, seeking answers. But it's not a human but a Hill gigas. She is saved by Zidane who injured is right arm by doing so.He told her that he was there during the destruction of Lindblum that's why they must fight, to stop Brahne.

 

They all spend the night on a cave. Garnet apologize for the physical injury, his arm, but also for what she told him earlier. She explains him what she had dream meanwhile she cures his arm. Zidane told her that no matter which forest she is lost inside he will help her going out of it.  She answers by telling him that if one day he's also lost she will help him ( probably a reference to the future you're not alone) and then goes to sleep.


 
The story ends by the team reaching Condie Petie and a positive Garnet smiling to Zidane, as long as they are together they will pass throught everything.
